Kiaora. I was born in Taupo. I attended Taupo Primary, Taupo Intermediate and Taupo College, where I met my Husband Bill. We now have 2 beautiful daughters Paige & Kamryn and a Dark Chocolate Lab Zeus.
I have chosen to “try and dance” for Dancing for Life Education in Partnership with Tall Poppy Real Estate because:
- It looks like so much fun! Hard work but fun.
- I love a challenge! Dancing is definitely out of my comfort zone but bring it on!
- It is an amazing opportunity to help raise funds for an awesome cause. I contract as a trainer to Empower Fitness, helping others to create better habits around food, exercise and their overall general health and well-being. If we can educate children at a young age, the skills and habits they learn can be carried with them through to adulthood.
I’m really looking forward to working alongside everyone to help make this a fun, entertaining and successful night.
My name is Abhinav and people usually remember my name by saying *had enough Abhinav*. I am surrounded by two lovely girls my wife Anshika and daughter Amaira. I am very passionate about Taupo which has been my home for over 11 years. I wear different hats everyday which includes running a busy restaurant and helping my wife run a cafe as well as being part of the Taupo business chamber.
Why I am dancing this year- I love to be part of a good cause and also like to test my abilities. Dancing is not something which comes naturally to me but I am sure my mother will be very proud of me because she loves dancing.
One line to describe me in this situation- Not a good dancer and you will be in for a great laugh! Looking forward to accomplishing this challenge
