Charlotte Jamieson
I’m Charlotte Jamieson, a trained primary teacher and mum to 3 wonderful kids. I taught for 23 years in the Waikato mainly in Cambridge. I was fortunate to have worked with life education and been part of the education programme while teaching in Cambridge. A very cool programme that kids enjoy and gain new skills to continue their journey and challenges they face day to day.
When not at work I enjoy baking, walking & bike riding with my family along the river trails and I'd like to train for a half marathon. My husband and I enjoy playing golf and tennis when time allows.
I moved to Turangi a year ago to take on a new challenge with my husband . We own and run New World, not only have we set up home in a new town we have met some great people and have been welcomed into a great community.
Having been hit up by our son’s bus driver to dance , the fear and nerves aside I decided I had no choice but to agree!
I am ABSOLUTELY nervous, this is out of my comfort zone but excited for what the adventure will bring. I am proud to be raising money and more awareness for Life Education as well as showing our own children what can be achieved with dedication and persistence.
If the excitement stepping on stage even nearly compares to kids excitement & inclusion in such a warm, safe environment that Life Education provides it will be worth it. The life skills, teachings, role-modeling & support provided by such energetic beautiful people at LET is to be admired, celebrated and supported (physically & financially!) Let's get as many people behind this as we can!
Zane Cozens
Having always been an active supporter of initiatives that create stronger communities, I'm proud to be involved in this amazing organisation and to help in the outstanding work they do with our youth.
I’m a real estate salesperson by day and have just launched my new real estate company ZRE.
I have lived in the region for decades and I am passionate about many things in life however it is people that are our number one asset.
I can't dance but I’m looking forward to learning just a few classy moves that will stop me from looking like a washing machine in a heavy wash mode bouncing across the stage. I also would like to take this moment to express my deepest sympathies to my future partner and all the pain that her delicate toes are about to endure. May they rest in peace.
But let's get cracking and have some fun!
