Sindre Stoeten
Hi there,
My name is Sindre Stoeten. I was born and raised in the country of Vikings, Norway! I moved to New Zealand in 2013, studied Chiropractic, and moved to beautiful Taupo at the end of 2019.
I am married to a local Taupo girl, Kasey, and we have 4 children ( Kiara 11, Oakland 8, Miley 3 and River 1)
When I’m not on the local running/biking trails exploring the stunning wilderness around the lake, I run Lake Taupo Chiropractic together with my beautiful wife.
There are 2 main reasons why I want to be involved with Dancing for Life Education.
- Life Education Trust does a lot of amazing work around our kids in the Taupo Community. Being a Chiropractor we see a lot of young families, and we recognise that a focus on health and wellbeing for our kids has never been more important. Any chance I can step up and be a part of that journey, I’ll take!
- It is important for me to show my kids that stepping outside our comfort zone for the greater good, is something that is worth doing.
I am hoping to improve my dancing skills, which should be too hard considering I don’t have any. I am also excited to get to know the rest of the group and hopefully put on an amazing show in October.

Teacher - Stacey Jacobs
Hey, my name is Stacey "Stussy" Jacobs from Misfitz Dance Studio.
I have been teaching dance for over 15 years teaching Hip Hop, Zumba Fitness, Adult, Aqua and Fitness classes to all ages and abilities in New Zealand and Overseas.
At Misfitz we thrive on giving our students the chance to express themselves in a more creative outlet, building confidence and self-esteem, and giving the opportunity to build their dance careers in local and national events. Some of which are currently about to head off to L.A in September to perform at Disneyland, on Hollywood BLVD and work with some of the top choreographers in the world.
I am so excited and honoured to be a part of the Dancing for Life Education event and ready to put the dancers through their paces!
So get ready to strut your stuff, pop lock and drop it and bring it to the floor!
